Our Vision
At Jefferson we foster meaningful relationships as the foundation to closing the achievement gap. Our commitment is to integrate best practices, academic language, and technology to engage our students in constructing their learning and mastering all essential academic standards.

Jefferson was established in 1927 and is a magnificent campus that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. We proudly serve a diverse community from TK - 6th Grade with an enrollment of about 650 students. We house two TK classes, four classes  in Kinder, First, and Second. We house three classes in Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade.  We also have two classes in Sixth Grade. We serve the needs of students with Individualized Education Plans in grades TK-6th with one Kinder SDC class, one primary First-Third SDC Combo class, one upper Fourth-Sixth SDC Combo class, and an exceptional Resource Program.   We have a full time librarian, counselor, assistant principal, speech and language pahtologist, and a part time school psychologist, speech and language pahtologist, occupational therapist, and resource specialist.
