MESSAGE TO ERHS FAMILIES:

Last night a social media post began circulating of a student warning others not to go to school today. Riverside County Sheriff's Department (RCSD), collaborating with Corona Norco Unified School District (CNUSD), immediately took action and was able to identify the student, visit the student household, and go through the proper protocols. RCSD confirmed this was a non-credible threat as the student was joking with friends and the image was posted as a “prank.” We would like to thank RCSD for their diligence and expeditiousness in this manner.

Please remind your student CNUSD and law enforcement takes all school threats seriously. All threats, even those done in jest, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent. ERHS and RCSD will provide extra law enforcement and security today to help our students feel safe and educate them about the seriousness of school pranks. Please take a few minutes to view the following public service announcement from CNUSD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0HCQZ2V8VE
